Thank God for a new day and a new morning, one week into May halleluyah.

May we thank God for our lives and ask God to prosper us? :)

Short story & testimony:
I happened to join this group of persons that was led by one that seemed to be their teacher. Bulk of them seem like youth and he was telling them to build; concrete/cement is very important. We were in a place that looked like a building built out of wood and zinc. Was pointing to the fact that the wood and zinc were not strong structures but i looked at the wood and felt the wood could be smoothened and refined so it had become nice for indwelling. Cheaper unlike the concrete structures the government promotes. With well refined wooden and zinc structures, people could easily get their structures built. Interestingly in Europe where they experience severe winter, you find some houses built of wood. As in real houses, not the quick hasty structures our people build out of zinc and wood.
We sat down. Some of the youth were telling our teacher let him tell them a quick means so they had get the dough (cash). Eyes were on the persons selling fried yam close to the suya seller (roasted meat). On another section there was this attraction and that, we were in a market for crying out loud! The guys were like - kai! we had like to rest, chill and enjoy ourselves.
It occurred that i left them and on my way back, i saw a girl bent towards a vehicle. From behind i could see panties were not were they ought to be, down and was like slutty. Temptation minus public and sin might have inserted but thank God i am a saint and i pray others would have a better mindset [in Jesus name]. As was coming closer, eyes were on the fried yam with the roasted meat and i was contemplating buying for the group but i hesitated. I joined them and like kids, they were still discussing about how they had like to enjoy this, do this, rest like this if they just had the money. They wanted teacher to download, he was quiet.
When leaving, it occurred to me that the plight of our nation is that most of us have such mentality, i myself am recovering. Want quick gains and holidays. The Europeans and more especially the Americans, work oriented and very concerned about building products and things that had help their people/world (some of the Asians too). They could be so passionate, they spend a lot of time on refining till they bring one great product into the world. God help us get what we are passionate about as we help ourselves, society and get our bags of cookies (money) in Jesus name.
