O Lord thank you for bringing us to the end of July and August, 

So much wounds in the heart, soul, ..

Your love and mercy didnt abandon us,

As we go forth into a new week may we be covered by your mercy

May your goodness and mercy follow us

Help us genuinely repent of all ills,

Ills we abhor and ills we cherish perhaps even secretly 

Heal us Lord of demons that have crept into our lives by our carelessness or whatever reason

We thank you for your love and kindness which never expires 

Please God Almighty, bless our land, our leaders and the people

Show mercy to us in our areas of weaknesses 

Show us your strength through our weaknesses 

Thank you Lord of Lords, King of Kings, I am that I am

Glory to God Almighty 

Glory to Alpha and Omega

Woke up this morning my dad was preparing to travel to the South East, Enugu. Came over for the weekend to spend time with his boys. Presence of dad, good one, felt nourished and taken care of. Miss mama. Stretched out of the bed put things in order. As dad was about to leave, gave me a huge gift of a mango i felt blessed. Ebere gave me cold pure water much later in the day while i was trying to go towards Pastor Gabriel's. Happy to have met her. It's been long havent seen her face and her countenance was welcoming full of smiles, light and cheerfulness, some warmth as well. I stepped out of the house in my caftan and headed towards church. COCIN and environs was filled with presence of people. Got to church, saw Basil, wanted to sit near him, usher instead took me way forward. Two gentlemen were by my side, had a good sunday. Once upon a time, Jesus told people if they have faith as small as a mustard seed, they could tell a mountain to move, and so shall it be. Another instance, tell a tree to move to the sea, so shall it be. Faith is the substance of thing hoped for. Hope is an interesting aspect of life. Hope can keep people alive and even the opposite. That is why we often here of retirees, loosing their life more quickly the moment they are no longer working even with good pension coming in. The answer, though many seem to know it, many seem to act like they dont know it. Many want to believe and act once more like they dont know it. Solution to the plight of the humans: love thy neighbor as thyself. Do unto others as you want done unto you. Seek God and learn to love him with all. Please him by faith which worketh by love.
