A Journey to Lagos
Blessings and blessings, more and more blessings following me and following you.
I once took off from Abuja with a group of men to Lagos, just to have our vehicle break down at Lokoja. 3hrs, mechanic and driver expended to get the car fixed. A friend with us suggested to the group, let us test the vehicle before taking off. Their mindset was we are going to make it let us just depart. They paid him off, 10-15 minutes gone, heat emanating, driver parked. Looking into the intestine of the vehicle, he confessed the gasket was blown!
Fed the vehicle with water, reversed and headed back to the mechanic. To fix the gasket - an intensive work. What are we going to do?
It was like 3pm already, and time was way gone. Lagos is far from where we were.
I called my pop man, he advised, boy, go back to Abj. Lagos is far, road is not good, getting really late. I wanted my faith to sum with my buddies, who decided to go by all means, scouting a public car.
I headed back. Wasn't one of the best days of my life but thank God made it back safe and am breathing the best air around. hehehe.
