Evangelism and the New Pentecost Church - 21 Mar 2017

Fellowship topic was about evangelism. Pastor asked what we could do so we improve the church and the output of our evangelism? He shared a passage in the bible where it was mentioned, that God answers and blesses people who bear fruits. Many pray shaking heads, binding the devil stopping their promotion and other things. Few in the church ever avail themselves to share the gospel like on Saturdays. Some that get determined may see themselves shaky around eve of the D-day.
Our church is a fancy building, lets stop deceiving ourselves and improve quality of worship and service unto God first and foremost and stop putting activities and building of church structures number one. Many expect the pastor only to be in the lead like for praying for the sick. It is duty for almost any christian God has charged us with power.
Amongst benefits of evangelism is restoration.
Many are afraid to go out and engage in evangelism like on Saturdays. Many get occupied with activities such as marriage, birthdays and naming ceremonies. We could strive when organizing an event to share the Word of the Master or invite someone from church to run that. He appreciates Daddy G. O. who even at the day he was given a Honorary Degree, mouth to the mic and he was sharing about Jesus. Secret of Daddy G.O has been obedience to Words in the Bible.

After Pastor Rotimi's preaching at Faith Chapel, i asked the church a question based on evangelism and improving the church. I asked - what is the opinion of the church, about modelling the church in the structure as they had it after pentecost, where the brethren were often meeting in fellowship, sharing and breaking bread from house to house; and their was this love amongst them and were a joyful bunch. Naturally, people had like to join this joyous happy people, whose light was spreading into the world and it is attractive.
Pastor and most people in the congregation nodded in agreement, some showed same line after service liking the question.
Pastor answered sharing some steps and tactics we could apply to take us closer.
Was a blessed Digging Deep service and by God's grace, we shall work hard to bear fruits for God's kingdom in Jesus name.

When i got home, whilst we were having evening fellowship, we were reminded obedience is key to having a good relationship with God. I grasped that RCCG Pastor Rotimi of Faith Chapel probably shared about the secret of G.O based on Open Heavens for that day.
After service, i met with Pastor Sola to share about the project to overcome by the blood of the lamb and word of testimony - http://www.overcomebyjesus.blogspot.com.ng and how i had like to use it with church to share testimony amongst church members and the world. With time, with high level of visitors, i had like to get partnership and sponsorship with a ministry the Lord had direct me to. Showed him a post from the blog, about orange i got for my neighbors, and how it closely matched with story of Daddy G.O buying orange for his Father in the Lord.

Thank God for a good day. And i pray the Lord will give us wholeheartedness to serve him in Spirit and in Truth in Jesus name and forever more.
