Walk with God and in his Love daily - TESTIMONY AS OF 29 JAN 17

I thank God for the gift of life. I thank God was able to wake on time. I had this terrible nightmare but woke up and I am a victor over it. I spent some time studying about my love for God, putting it in writing, reading and reminding myself.
I left, went for church. I hollad at some hausa guys near my house then I went on. Upon getting to church, I sat down at a good position.

The preacher soon came up. The message was about Walking with God. He shared with us from several parts of the scripture how we can live this kind of lifestyle. We ought to walk before God, we ought to walk by the law and statutes of God; we ought to walk in His love and His light.

Old saints like Enoch, Abraham and Job walked with God.
For us to be successful in this generation and in our lives, we ought to walk with God.
And who knows, God might just take us like Enoch.

Hey in the morning, after Pastor Nweke made a call for prayers, I rededicated my life to Jesus. Others gave their life to Christ. I thank God for Pastor Sola, I shared a burden and he gave a helping hand.

At noon, we had baptism class. Saw many of my colleagues from last week. The young man, Brother Fred, tutored us into the program and we discussed about Christ. We shared about his birth, his role and purpose. Jesus Christ is God who died on behalf of us so that through believing in him and confessing, we earn eternal life.

In the evening, we had a holy communion service. Ate the body of Christ, drank his blood. This is the real bread that came from heaven!



Lesson for the day:We should make every effort to walk with God daily, to walk in love and in his light. God shall help us in Jesus name.

Woke up this morning my dad was preparing to travel to the South East, Enugu. Came over for the weekend to spend time with his boys. Presence of dad, good one, felt nourished and taken care of. Miss mama. Stretched out of the bed put things in order. As dad was about to leave, gave me a huge gift of a mango i felt blessed. Ebere gave me cold pure water much later in the day while i was trying to go towards Pastor Gabriel's. Happy to have met her. It's been long havent seen her face and her countenance was welcoming full of smiles, light and cheerfulness, some warmth as well. I stepped out of the house in my caftan and headed towards church. COCIN and environs was filled with presence of people. Got to church, saw Basil, wanted to sit near him, usher instead took me way forward. Two gentlemen were by my side, had a good sunday. Once upon a time, Jesus told people if they have faith as small as a mustard seed, they could tell a mountain to move, and so shall it be. Another instance, tell a tree to move to the sea, so shall it be. Faith is the substance of thing hoped for. Hope is an interesting aspect of life. Hope can keep people alive and even the opposite. The whole essence of life is love. Through love, many of us believe the world was made. By the Word, things were formed out of things that seemed not to exist. Backed by faith, we can do great and mighty works, bring things that seem not to exist unto reality. Plight of the humans: many keep on wondering what is the purpose of life. The answer, though many seem to know it, many seem to act like they dont know it. Many want to believe and act once more like they dont know it. Solution to the plight of the humans: love thy neighbor as thyself. Do unto others as you want done unto you. Seek God and learn to love him with all. Please him by faith which worketh by love.
